WaterUsageX does not collect anything. The app has no accounts, no servers and no network code. Every activity you enter and every calculation you save stays on this device and is visible only to you.
The calculator uses the following entries to work out your estimates:
Activity details and the per-activity breakdown remain available only while you are using the calculator and results screens. The app remembers your last activity name as a suggestion for next time. If you tap Save to History, it stores the date and time and the estimated daily and monthly totals, but not the full activity list or breakdown. History keeps up to 20 saved calculations. The app also remembers whether you completed onboarding and your last monthly total.
The app does not read your contacts, photos, location, calendar, microphone or camera, and it never asks for permission to do so. It has no water-meter, utility-account or smart-home integration — the figures are your own estimates.
Your history and remembered values are written to this device's local app storage (NSUserDefaults), inside the app's private container. The app does not upload, sync, or share them with our servers or third parties; it has no server connection. Your device's operating-system backup settings may separately include app data in an iCloud or computer backup.
Open History and tap Clear History to remove every saved calculation from the app. Deleting the app removes its local data from the device, including the remembered values. These actions do not delete any separate device backups managed by iOS or your computer. Neither action needs an internet connection.
The app is not directed at children and collects no personal information from anyone, including children.
If this policy changes, the updated text ships with the next version of the app and the date at the top of this page changes with it.
